In Kinder this week

Kinder's paper shoes

As always, Kindergarten have had a great fortnight. We have Read ‘The Kick A Lot Shoes’ which is very funny. Everyone painted the witch from the story with stripy stockings and pointy shoes. We also made  sneakers and wrote a procedure outlining the steps we took to make them. We then read ‘Shoes in Twos’ which shows us how to count by 2s. We also made Noah’s Ark and counted in the animals two by two. It’s been fun learning to count over the decade by jiving along to the song Zero the Hero. In Japanese we have been learning how to make samurai hats and kimonos out of paper. Everyone is very excited about our excursion to the Japanese Gardens which is getting closer! We have started to compile our Student Led Conference notes and are writing lots of things that we are proud of in our learning as well as identifying things that we could improve on. We can’t wait to share these with our parents at interview times.  Also this week we have been working on a top secret craft mission. Shh! We’ll hide them somewhere safe until Sunday. Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there
