Uniform
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community. Learn about our uniform and where to buy it.
Our school uniform
We strongly encourage our students to wear our uniform with pride. There are several reasons we why we enforce this….
1. Uniformity. It encourages a ‘team’ approach to school. There is a sense of identity and community shared through school spirit.
2. Easier Mornings. When you know exactly what you are wearing each day, it makes it easier to get ready and out the door!
3. Safety. Our uniform is designed to provide sun safety and is comfortable enough to be able to run and play.
4. An even playing field. This is a big one with me. It’s been proven having all children dressed the same significantly reduces bullying and teasing. It removes the obvious ‘status’ labels (which is why we don’t have ‘Canterbury’).
5. Simple Economics. Our school uniform is designed to stand up to everyday wear and tear and repeated washing.
