Subsidised school travel

Bus travel

Transport for NSW  provides subsidies to assist school students.

• The  School Student Transport Scheme  provides eligible students with free or subsidised travel with our local bus providers between home and school.
• The  School Drive Subsidy  may help towards the costs of driving children to school or nearest bus stop if you live in an area where there is a significant distance to your first bus pick up point.
• Local bus services are provided by Lithgow Buslines, Eastend Bus Service, and Jim & Tim Jamieson.

Driving and parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

When driving and parking near our school, please:

• ensure you park safely in school zones
• follow speed signs
• do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.

Pedestrians

Pedestrian access to the school is via the front gate, not the driveway. Students cycling may bring their bicycle in through the driveway to access the bike shed, after dismounting.
